3/4 cup chopped fresh strawberries
2 Tbsp lemon juice
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter, room temperature
4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
1-1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
5 oz white chocolate chips
2 Tbsp flour
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Pour lemon juice over chopped strawberries; drain them after a few minutes.
- Beat sugar with butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and mix well. Gradually add flour, baking powder, and salt until all is well combined. Stir in white chocolate.
- Sprinkle strawberries with 2 tablespoons flour and toss until all strawberries are coated. Stir gently into batter.
- Drop heaping tablespoons of batter onto parchment-lined baking sheet and cook for 24 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
